News archive - Event Announcement: ICEIRD 2009 - International Conference for Entrepreneurship Innovation & Regional Development

Following the course of the first ICEIRD 2008 in Skopje and Ohrid the ICEIRD conference in 2009 will take place in Thessaloniki on April 24-25, 2009.

Objective:
The objective of ICEIRD 2009 is to establish an effective channel of communication between policy makers, government agencies, academic and research institutions and persons concerned with latest research, scientific development and practice on innovation and regional development.

Submissions, Review and Proceedings:
Authiors are invited to submit an extended abstract. Submitted extended abstracts will go under blind review by two referees. Following acceptance, authors are asked to prepare a camera ready paper. All papers accepted for presentation will be published in proceedings.
Selected and best papers will be double-blind refereed and accepted papers will be published in special issues of the International Journal of Innovation and Regional Development (www.inderscience.com/ijird)

Important Dates (provisional):
Submission of extended abstracts: December 5, 2008
Notification of acceptance: February 2, 2009
Submission of camera ready paper: March 6, 2009
Early registration and author registration: March 15, 2009

ICEIRD 2009 will be organized in conjunction with the 2009 Annual Technology Innovation International (TII) Conference, hosted by SEERC, April 23-24, 2009 in Thessaloniki, Greece.
