News archive - CIP Eco-Innovation: 2008 open call - Albania to sign Memorandum of Understanding

The 2008 Eco-innovation Call was open to all legal persons that are based in the 27 EU Member States, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Israel, Croatia, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, or Montenegro. Proposers from Turkey and Albania can also participate in the Call for Proposals 2008. However, in case of a positive selection, the signature of the contract will be conditional on the entering into force of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which needs to take place the latest by the 16 June 2009.

The call 2008 is now closed.

More information on the Eco-innovation programme is available from ec.europa.eu/ecoinnovation.

In order to stay up to date on the EU's environmental policy, there is a popular weekly "Science for Environment Policy" news alert service and a monthly News Alert on Thematic Issues to provide additional context and link international research with those involved in public policy-making.

The themes covered by current or forthcoming issues include sustainable production & consumption, water preservation, emissions trading, and adaption to climate change. Read on: http://ec.europa.eu/environment/integration/research/newsalert/specialissue_en.html
