News archive - Call for papers: International Conference on Current Research Information Systems (CRIS 2012)

From 6-9 June 2012 the 11th International Conference on Current Research Information Systems (CRIS 2012) will be held in Prague. The theme of the Conference is: "e-Infrastructures for Research and Innovation - Linking Information Systems to Improve Scientific Knowledge Production". The Call for Papers has just been launched (deadline for submission of abstracts is December 10, 2011). Contributions from the West Balkan research community will be very welcome.

The conference is organised by euroCRIS and InfoScience Praha under the patronage of the Research, Development and Innovation Council of the Czech Republic. 

Conference contributions
The CRIS community and all other interested parties to submit their findings and experiences as paper or poster. Conference contributions will be organized in three tracks:

  1. Research information management: Contributions presenting best practices, standards and structures which enable researchers to share information or which help to organize research and innovation processes in and across institutions.
  2. Advances in technology: Contributions on advanced information and communication technologies to improve research information availability and quality; using advanced database, knowledge base, process and workflow, user interface, ubiquitous computing and GRID or CLOUD technologies.
  3. Future trends in research information management: Selected contributions which present ideas and visions how research information systems can promote research and innovation in Europe.
