News archive - FP6-Funded Project SIROCCO Searches Additional Partners

The FP6-funded project "SIROCCO - Silencing RNAs: organisers and coordinators of complexity in eukaryotic organisms" is looking for up to three additional project partners with experience in the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology" and/or diagnostic/clinical applications to carry out certain tasks in the project.

Deadline for applications: November 12, 2009, 17:00CET.

Up to three new partners will be selected for funding in this competitive call to be integrated in the SIROCCO consortium and at least one small and medium enterprise (SME) will be selected for funding in the area of biotechnology/clinical applications.

The expected duration of participation in project is January 2010 to December 2010, with a possible 12 month extension to December 2011, depending on the EC's acceptance. Total EC funding available for new partners is up to € 1 000 000.
