News archive - The 'Research Potential' Specific Programme

The specific programme of the the 'Capacities' Programme of FP7 focussing on Research Potentials plans to implement international cooperation in its 2007 Workprogramme with a call focussing on S&T cooperation between Europe (especially its convergence regions) and the Western Balkan countries.
The call is expected to be launched on December 22, 2006.

The main aim is to develop partnerships between existing or emerging centres of excellence in the European Union's convergence and outermost regions, the Member States and/or the Associated Countries and the Western Balkan Countries. Coordination and support actions Proposals may apply to any research topic promoted under the FP7 'Cooperation' Programme and shall upgrade the research capacities in the WBCs.
