News archive - [Event Announcement] Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology: Info Day and Brokerage Event on Call FP7-KBBE-6-2012

The information day is for everyone interested in taking part in call 2012. Participation in the event is free-of-charge,but registration is compulsory. ON-LINE REGISTRATION: http://www.tetalap.hu/biobro2011/

Registrations will be accepted on a ‘first come first served’ basis. Please register before July 08, 2011.

 Participants are invited to upload their profiles (introduction of specific competence in relation with the call + potential project idea) before June 26, 2011 to the partnering tool available at the registration website.

The objective of the event is to bring together research stakeholders, from both the public and  private sectors from the EU and Third Countries, together with Commission officers and provide information and ground for discussion and networking. The event will include in the morning a general introduction with presentations of the main features and areas addressed by the 2012 call. While the official Call is foreseen to be published on the July 20,  2012 an orientation paper will be posted earlier on highlights at: www.ec.europa.eu/research/bioeconomy

Group discussions by thematic areas to bring together consortia followed by a partnering session with pre-arranged bilateral meetings to discuss potential partnerships in FP7 proposals will be held in the afternoon. Each pre-arranged face to face meeting will last 15 minutes. The bilateral meetings will be organized based on the preferences of the registrants and a meeting schedule will be distributed. SMEs relevant research will gain reinforced importance in WP 2012. Topics with mandatory SMEs participation are included with the aim to spend 15% of the call budget on SMEs. The partnering event will also offer networking possibilities for interested SMEs with up-to-date guidance on participation.
