A call for tender for a "Study on social dialogue in the Western Balkan countries" is published by DG Employment. Deadline for the receipt of bids is May 15, 2008.

It is published in Official Journal no. 2008/S 062-083179 on 29/03/2008. The deadline for receipt of bids is 15/05/2008, opening of bids : 27/05/2008.

The contract entails carrying out a study analysing cross-industry social partner organisations and social dialogue institutions and mechanisms in the countries of the Western Balkan region. In addition, sectoral organisations active in the electricity, gas and railways sectors will also be covered.
The contract will be concluded for a period of 7 months with effect from the date on which it enters into force. The total amount is estimated at a maximum of EUR 150 000.
