News archive - Strategy for Export Improvement of the AP Vojvodina published
Centre for Strategic Economic Studies "Vojvodina-CESS" of the Government of AP Vojvodina presented the "Strategy for Export Improvement of the AP Vojvodina 2011-2015". The need for creating this kind of strategy was recognized after the completion of a CESS study "Competitiveness of Vojvodina Economy" (2010), in which the analysis of foreign trade performances of the Province led to conclusion that in the AP Vojvodina import specialization is lower than export specialization. Therefore, it was proven as necessary to define a strategy that would point to the ways of changing the structure of export in favor of products recognizable and competitive at the international market.
The document has been created with that precise aim - to provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation and to give recommendations for further action decision-making in this area through different approaches to the various aspects of foreign trade.
