News archive - Event Announcement: Austrian-Croatian Science Days
The objectives of the 3rd Austrian-Croatian Science Days are in concrete terms:
- to assess the success of ongoing cooperation activities;
- to provide user-friendly practical information on a wide spectrum of programmes and initiatives supporting cooperation in science, research and technology;
- to facilitate and arrange meetings between possible partners for new collaborative activities based on pre-matching of ideas for cooperation.
The Austrian-Croatian Science Days will provide excellent opportunities for researchers, intermediaries and government research officials for getting up-to date information on support programmes and services for cooperation while at the same time meeting researchers and other experts for future collaborative activities.
The target groups of the Partnering Day will be researchers in the area of life sciences from universities, non-university research organisations and industry. The partnering meetings on the second day will be arranged on the basis of partnering profiles collected from the participants in advance. The profiles will be matched as a basis for arranging the exact meeting schedule for the Partnering Day. Experts will be present to provide information and to answer practical questions regarding suitable funding opportunities.
The organisers hope that new project ideas and new promising collaborative partnerships will be identified as results of the Austrian-Croatian Science Days.
