News archive - WBC-INCO.NET: Mapping of the WBC Innovation Infrastructures
Deliverables "Mapping of the WBC Innovation Infrastructures" together with the "Conclusive Summary Report", summarising the former seven national reports in brief, have been recently completed and published.
The seven national innovation infrastructure reports provide an extensive and complex overview of the innovation infrastructures in the WBC region, covering several important aspects of the National Innovation Systems (NIS) and presenting the status quo of innovation institutions and programmes in the Western Balkan Countries (WBC).
- Innovation-related key government institutions and
- Key programmes as well as
- Key innovation infrastructures such as
- Technology and Innovation Centres (TICs),
- Clusters,
- Technology and Science Parks (TSPs),
- Business Start-up centres (BSCs),
- Technology Incubators (TIs)
- and other related organisations.
In addition, an exhaustive Conclusive Summary Report complements and summarises all seven national reports and highlights the most noteworthy innovation infrastructures mapped in the field. Furthermore, the report also outlines current and historical perspective of the innovation infrastructures in the WBC region, as well as briefly describes the legal framework in the WBC countries that influence the innovation infrastructure landscape. Historical comparison was possible due to the fact that similar reports have been already prepared during the FP6 project SEE- SCIENCE.EU in 2007. Full list of the mapped innovation infrastructures is provided in the Annex of this deliverable.
