News archive - SEE Renewable Energy 2010 Conference will be held in Istanbul

The South East Europe (SEE) Renewable Energy 2010 Conference will be held on 26 November 2010, in Istanbul, Turkey. In the event, an eminent panel of speakers will be discussing a number of the hot issues affecting the renewable energy market today in South East European countries.

All eyes are on South East Europe (SEE) as it enters a ‘Golden Era’ for its Renewable Energy market development. This region is keen to adhere to International Directives clean energy developments and has created country specific goals to implement Renewables in to the energy mix. There is also a need for SEE to intensify its measures in energy security and independence.
Governments have created attractive incentives to increase the interest of investors and developers in order to create a solid Renewable market in SEE. With only a few obstacles in the way, the SEE Renewable market is set to develop at an unprecedented rate.
As the liberalisation of Turkey’s Energy markets continues, a strong interest from the Private sector has developed. But there is also a pressing interest for Turkey to fully utilise its renewable energy resources. Governments are backing high feed in tariffs and legislation to promote interest from investors and the market is expanding at an unprecedented rate.

In the SEE Renewable Energy conference an eminent panel of speakers will be discussing a number of the hot issues affecting the market today. Discover why Bulgaria is experiencing a surge in RES development, understand the market potential for Wind and how biogas could play a role in the future. The event provides fantastic networking opportunities to mix with many of the key players in the Renewable Energy market today.

There are only a few more days to register before the conference, please contact Ms Elise Innis if you are interested in attending.
