The commission is permanently in need of experts with an industrial (rather than academic) background, and female experts to build up a balanced reserve of evaluators.

The work is certainly intensive, but it allows you to meet key people in your research sector from all over the world. Furthermore reviewing proposals is the best possible training for preparing a proposal.
Participation of evaluators from the Western Balkans is still low and should be strengthened.
