The major objectives of the first year of BITF operations are in short:

▪ the development of innovations in the process of transferring knowledge and technologies from the faculties to the practice,
▪ and the support to innovative start-up businesses/BITF tenants by providing education, consulting and mentoring services.

As first results of the incubator there can be mentioned the establishment of a Club of students/potential entrepreneurs, and two project awards at the competition for the best technological innovation – amongst others.

The Ministry of Science is funding the first set of innovative projects implemented by the BITF, in order to develop and commercialize new products, services and technologies.
