News archive - REACT Survey on Climate-Friendly Transport

The REACT has elaborated a Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) for Climate Friendly Transport. Stakeholders and experts are invited to participate in a a consultation process on the SRA that aims to shape the future research in terms of future trends and demands.

Deadline: April 15, 2011.

The aim of the REACT SRA is to focus on research priorities in terms of carbon reduction within the transport sector (this means the focus is not on other issues in transport, such as safety, security, health, noise, other pollutants, etc.).

The REACT Open Consultation aims at expanding the pool of expressed opinions, enriching our perspective on the future of research in climate friendly transport and shaping an SRA for Climate Friendly Transport.

In the survey, stakeholders and experts are asked to specify the stage of research needed (for basic, applied, and implemented research) from today until 2030, as well as about their views on the impact of different areas of research over a time horizon 2030 (only those in which they would like to comment and have some knowledge). The results of the SRA will help the European Commission to define research priorities.

If you wish to participate in the survey, please please click here to register and express your opinion on your field before April 15.
