News archive - “Thinking across borders - (Re) discover ICT cooperation potential with East Europe & Central Asia and Western Balkan countries”… @ ICT 2010

To support the integration of Western Balkan (WB) and Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) countries into the ERA, a number of support actions funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme are joining efforts and organise a series of networking activities during the ICT 2010 event (September 27-29, 2010, Brussels, Belgium).

Registration deadline: September 20.

More precisely, a networking session “Thinking across borders - (Re) discover ICT cooperation potential with East Europe & Central Asia and Western Balkan countries” will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 9:00 to 10:30 in room 1122 (see also http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/events/cf/ict2010/item-display.cfm?id=2908).

The session intends to promote research competencies of WBC and EECA organisations in the ICT field and facilitate personal contacts among researchers from EU, EECA and WB countries towards their future collaboration opportunities, especially under the FP7-ICT theme.

To join the session you need to register through the web tool http://www.eeca-ict.eu/index.php/en/thinking-across-borders, and complete your organisations profile as well as any research ideas you might have and wish to promote.

You will be able to browse through already registered researchers and request meeting(s) with potential partners. Meanwhile, as you may have been identified by other participants to explore your future collaboration potential, you should confirm the meetings that fit in your research agenda.

Just login (http://www.eeca-ict.eu/index.php/en/thinking-across-borders) and visit the “My meetings’ page to browse through the registered participants and/or check your meetings.

The procedure will close on September 20, 2010, so there will be enough time to prepare the time schedule. You will be forwarded your meetings schedule so you are informed before your travel to Brussels.

Thr organisers remain at your disposal for any further clarifications you might need.
