News archive - [Event Announcement & Call for Papers] 13th Bled Forum on Europe Foresight Conference

The main themes of the 13th Bled Forum on Europe Foresight Conference (taking place March 29-30, 2012 in Bled, Slovenia) are:
a) Europe beyond Smart, Inclusive and Sustainable through the Cloud Computing Decade,
b) Enabling Prosperity for Balkans,
c) Contribution of Turkey to the Future of Europe,
d) Danube Region Development.

The call for papers is open till February 15, 2012.

Please find Call for Papers - Essays in the attachment. The essays in English with a maximum of 1250 words (approx. 3 pages) should be submitted to anja.polajnar@cegd.eu no later than February 15, 2012.

The main objectives of 13th Bled Forum on Europe are:

1. to present social and economic challenges of today … and interact
2. to present new development concepts and industry service solutions … and interact
3. to design project initiatives
& to have an impact on future developments of society, economy, business, NGOs and research agendas

Friday, 30th March
III. Session on Future of regions (Danube / Balkans / South East Europe)
IV. Session on Future of Countries (their role in Symbiotic Region)
V. Session on EU 2020 Digital Agenda & Cloud Computing Decade
