News archive - Event Announcement: French EU Council Presidency 5th European Conference on Research Infrastructures (ECRI2008)

Date and location: December 9 - 10, 2008, Versailles/France

The French Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the European Commission are organising the 5th European Conference on Research Infrastructures (ECRI2008) under the auspices of the French EU Council Presidency.

The conference will deal in particular with current science policy issues related to the construction and operation of research infrastructures. Furthermore, the discussions will focus on the revision of European Roadmap for research infrastructures, which will be officially presented at the Conference.

The outcome of the parallel sessions will be presented in the round table discussion on December 10, which will summarise the needs in terms of policy, new infrastructures and capacity building in the European Research Area.

Attendance is by invitation only and in recognition of your involvement in research infrastructures.
