The Finish EU Presidency pushes ahead the issue of innovation policy in Europe, describes the Cordis article published on July 12, 2006.

As sources of finance for the innovation leaps, Structural Funds are mentioned as well as the Members States that shall increase funding for European Technology Platforms. Also venture capital shall play its important role in a community-wide market.
