News archive - Call for Applications for the “HighTech Europe Knowledge Auction”

Within the EU-funded project “HighTech Europe” a new, innovative tool was developed to overcome barriers in technology and knowledge transfer between research and industry: the “HighTech Europe Knowledge Auction”. The concept is a face-to-face auction where researchers offer their innovations and companies buy the right for exclusive negotiations.

Application deadline: November 30, 2010.

The topic of the first HighTech Europe Knowledge Auction is “Food Packaging Innovations”. Therefore, it will be hold at interpack 2011, Düsseldorf, Germany.

This event is relevant for both research institutes and companies with own R&D who want to commercialize their products, technologies, patents, etc. and for SMEs without capacity for own research that want to profit from innovations.
