News archive - [Event Announcement] CEI Summit Economic Forum - The Way Ahead: Towards a Better Future

The 12th CEI Summit Economic Forum (SEF) will take place in Bucharest, Romania on November 12 under the 2009 Romanian Presidency of the Central European Initiative. As in previous years, the SEF 2009 will gather government officials, representatives of the business and finance community, industry leaders, international financial institutions, and others. In all, over 1000 participants are expected to share in the debate.

Organised since 1998, the CEI Summit Economic Forum is a regional event unique by scale and importance. It takes place each November on the occasion of the annual CEI Summit of the Heads of Government, always in a different CEI member country – the one that is holding the CEI Presidency.

Business in focus

Participants meet for a common goal: search for tangible opportunities for investment and growth in the CEI Member Countries. Therefore, the CEI Summit Economic Forum is a platform where feasible business ideas are discussed, investment opportunities examined, trade partnerships established, co-operation agreements made. It is the place where you can offer your goods or services or search for them; where participants can present your project ideas; establish many important contacts and find business partners.

The Forum also offers an opportunity to personally meet policy makers and to discuss common institutional bottlenecks and possible ways to overcome them. Finally, the CEI Summit Economic Forum is definitely a unique "from contact to contract" event in Central Europe. It is considered a must by a large number of participants  belonging  to groups, associations, committees, etc., which cooperate throughout the year and use the Forum as their regular meeting place.

In order to participate it is required to register online by November 5. f you have difficulties registering online, please call +39 040 7786 731 / 771 for assistance.
