News archive - 10th International Summer University, Prishtina - Apply Now as Academic Staff

The University of Prishtina is organising the 10th edition of the Prishtina International Summer University (PISU) to take place from July 12-23, 2010. PISU will be offering wenty credited courses covering a wide range of study fields such as social sciences, law, economics, arts, education, medicine, engineering, linguistics, agronomics and archaeology.

How to Apply

Academic staff interested in becoming part of this program are asked to contact the University of Prishtina's International Relations Office as soon as possible, preferably before March 10 2010 (lulzim.pllana@uvp.uni-pr.edu).

Course suggestions will need to indicate the name of a co-professor. The role of the co-professor is the most important point of contact for the visiting professor as to provide the course together with him/her. Co-professors need to take an active role in class, i.e. provide lectures and with local insight, lead discussions, prepare examinations, organise excursions and field work, etc. The visiting professor (international or vice versa) who wants to suggest a course has to care self about the co-professor. If your staff wants to make a course suggestion for PISU 2010 and you don't have the proper co-professor, than is necessary to contact the dean of the proper faculty of University of Prishtina. Alternatively PISU can assist to find a co-professor.
