The IPA Cross-Border Programme is calling for project proposals focusing on cross-border cooperation between Bulgaria and the FYR of Macedonia. The objective is to enhance the capability of the local and regional authorities to develop and implement joint projects within the border region between Bulgaria and the FYR of Macedonia...

Eligible regions in Bulgaria include Blagoevgrad and Kyustendil, and eligible regions in Macedonia include the North-East, the East and the South-East.

Project proposals should target one of the following two priority areas: economic development and social cohesion or the improvement of the quality of life. Eligible organisations must be legal entities, be established within one of the border regions of Bulgaria or Macedonia and belong to one of the following types of groups: local/regional/national authorities or one of its subsidiaries, national and regional agencies, nature park administrations, local/regional forestry directorates, health institutions, educational institutions, cultural institutions, community centers, NGOs or non-profit organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, trade unions, etc.
