News archive - Event Announcement: Bulgarian FP7 launch

The Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science is organizing a Launching Conference "Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration activities" in Sofia, January 31 - February 1 with lecturers from the European Commission and participants from the EU member-states and the countries of the Western Balkans..

The objective of the event is to start officially the 7th framework programme; to introduce it to a large number of interested groups and to raise awareness of national research community on the ideology, structure, content and opportunities of the Programme.

The conference is structured in two main sections:
- a general part presenting the four specific pillars of the of the 7th framework programme and
- targeted thematic sessions compiling information of the first calls for proposals, brokerage events and links to the industry.
Horizontal sessions devoted to a more specialized audience will also take place.
