In the following, we would like to give you an insight into the work POLICY ANSWERS has done in Montenegro to further develop various skills in the economy.

Training for Preparation of Applications for Horizon Europe Projects

A capacity building training on the above topic was successfully held on 11-14 May 2023. The training was intended for researchers from public and private universities in Montenegro, scientific research institutions, companies in growth and development, as well as non-governmental organisations and those who have the potential, goal and interest to participate in the Horizon Europe Framework Programme.

Participants learnt about Horizon Europe including the potential project funding opportunities and about research and innovation priorities. This empowered the 20 participants to formulate and craft compelling project proposals aligning with their respective funding preferences. The evaluation of the training (related to the trainer and the overall organisation) indicated the highest marks. Due to the high interest, the training was repeated on 2-5 October 2023.

Training for Implementing Horizon Europe Projects in Montenegro

A dedicated four-day training programme was held in Podgorica on 13-16 June 2023. The training was intended for researchers from public and private universities in Montenegro, scientific research institutions, growing and developing companies, as well as non-governmental organisations that already have some experience, are currently conducting, or anticipate starting the implementation of Horizon Europe projects. 25 participants attended. This training was also repeated on 9,10,15 and 16 of November 2023.
