Within the comprehensive program of the visit, a special topic was the work of the University Center for Innovation and Research. Through a series of meetings and presentations that were organized, the team of the University of Sarajevo was introduced to the activities of support for research and research projects, innovations, transfer and valorization of knowledge and technologies, and the collection of information through RIMAP - the regional digital innovation platform within EDIH Adria, the activities of the university alliance Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) and ultimately activities on the postdoctoral program.

Representatives of the University of Rijeka and the University Center for Innovation and Research, as well as other attendees, shared their experiences, the way of working and the activities undertaken to build the Center, as well as the steps they plan to take in the coming period. In addition to these topics, individual projects, the Science Foundation of the University of Rijeka, and the Center for the Promotion of Science were also discussed. It is planned to continue cooperation through return visits, exchange of materials and documents important for the development of science and research, as well as cooperation through joint projects.
