122 project proposals compete in the second assessment phase of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme - 32 in "sustainable tourism"
The results of the 1st assessment phase for the 2nd call for thematic projects have been published in June 2023. The selected project proposals will now enter the 2nd phase of assessment (June-November). The Monitoring Committee of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme has selected 122 project proposals (marked above by thematic area) out of the 263 eligible to go on to 2nd phase of assessment (June-November). The final results of the applications leading to the approval of projects are expected by end of November 2023.

The Interreg Euro-MED Programme focuses on four key priority areas, such as:
- Sustainable innovative economy (33)
- Natural heritage (23)
- Green living areas (34)
- Sustainable Tourism (32)
From the WB Region, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and the Republic of North Macedonia are eligible for the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.
