Results of the Danube Transnational Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the final conference of INTERREG

The results of the Danube Transnational Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented by the colleague of the Danube Region Programme in Sarajevo during the final conference of INTERREG.

It is a great achievement for Bosnia and Herzegovina to have had 49 partners participating in 40 projects out of a total of 116 projects that were funded in 2014-2020 programming period.

One of them, the ACCELERATOR project aiming to provide better access to innovation finance for SMEs, was also showcased at the closing conference. According to Marica Beric from Development Agency of Republic of Srpska, knowledge and experience gained in the project already helped them support more than 120 businesses.

By actively participating in the Danube programme, Bosnia and Herzegovina has not only contributed to the success of the overall programme but also gained valuable opportunities to develop partnerships with other countries in the region, which is crucial for addressing our common challenges.
