Serbian businesses trained in the frame of the POLICY ANSWERS project on how to address the digital transformation challenges
The Mihajlo Pupin Institute, as part of the Horizon Europe project POLICY ANSWERS plans five capacity building workshops. The first one entitled "How to improve business by using the latest digital technologies?" was held on March 27, 2023. The work also created synergy with the Enterprise Europe Network project and provided b2b opportunities for digital solution providers and digital solutions seekers.
The first workshop was aimed at strengthening the capacities of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). It was held on March 27, 2023 in Belgrade, in the conference room of the Institute Mihajlo Pupin
The workshop is one of the activities under the POLICY ANSWERS project (R&I policy making, implementation, and support in the Western Balkans), within a work package aimed at strengthening and building the capacities of institutions and businesses. The workshop was conducted by certified trainers and educators from the Center for Digital Transformation of Serbia, Miodrag Kostic (Director and Owner of Veza d.o.o.) and Tijana Sekulic (Owner of AT CONSULTING agency).
After the workshop, with the support of partners from the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) Serbia project (Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia) and in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska and the Development Agency of the Republic of Srpska, B2B meetings were held between providers of digital solutions and companies in need of those solutions.
The second event with similar objectives was held in Novi Sad on March 31 in the big conference room of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina. 56 participants from SMEs and business support organizations took part in Belgrade and Novi Sad, and were so happy with what they gained!
The next stops on this roadshow will be Čačak (7 April) in the Science and Technology Park and Nis (13 April) hosted by the Chamber of Commerce.
The event series will end in Belgrade on 21 April and get together all attendees from the workshops on the basic Digital Transformation level as well as those on the advanced topics in Digital transformation.
