News archive - Modernisation of the University of Sarajevo Department of Physics - presentation of new laboratory and equipment

The Department of Physics of the Faculty of Science-University of Sarajevo presented the renovated laboratories and high-tech equipment as part of the modernization process. The laboratory renovation has been funded by Mr. Edmond Offermann, scientist, philanthropist and a true friend of the Sarajevo University. The project has been also supported by the Canton Sarajevo Government within their efforts to improve research infrastructure at the University of Sarajevo.

Renovated laboratory has received the total grant in the amount of 2 million euros for modernisation, and shall provide new opportunities for researchers and research cooperation, but also for students and their research activities.

Activities on the modernization of research infrastructure in other departments at the Faculty of Science are also ongoing in full capacity.
