The EIT reports how the programme has seen a massive improvement in the Western Balkans (WB) compared to the past year in respect to its EIT Jumpstarter initiative on https://balkaninnovation.com/eit-jumpstarter-massive-improvement-in-the-western-balkans.
In the 2022-round of applications, the programme received 51 applications from the WB (compared to last year’s 45 applications).
In 2021, 17 WB teams joined the Bootcamp phase while this year the number almost doubled to 33 teams. In 2021, eight teams made it to the Local Joint Trainings phase compared to 20 teams this year. Both North Macedonia and Montenegro have seven teams each, Serbia follows with five teams and one from Albania.
