News archive - POLICY ANSWERS' Project Advisory Board meets for first time
The first meeting of the Project Advisory Board of POLICY ANSWER project was organised on March 3rd 2022, in hybrid form (as combination of physical meeting in Brussels at premises of DG Research and Innovation and online using a Webex platform).
The Project Advisory Board (PAB) of POLICY ANSWERS represents a discussion forum with involvement “ex officio” of representatives of the EC and RCC to support the project with their outside view, as well as the co-design of relevant meetings is concerned or consultation regarding policy papers.
The Board met for first time on March, 3rd to get introduced to the project activities and find already possible synergies.
Elke Dall (project coordinator) provided a comprehensive overview of the planned activities and expected outcomes The project partners explained in short the actions foreseen in all 7 workpackages while the EC services contributed information on parallel initiatives to create synergies with. As underlined by DG RTD during the meeting, having such a forum as the PAB is important especially in case of certain emergency situations which require flexibility in project implementation. Also, PAB is very useful for overall coordination with the EC services.
A plan for further cooperation was presented.
