News archive - [Call Announcement] Fyssen Foundation - Call for projects and nominations
The aim of the Fyssen Foundation is to "encourage all forms of scientific inquiry into cognitive mechanisms, including thought and reasoning, which underlie animal and human behavior; their biological and cultural bases, and phylogenetic and ontogenetic development".
The areas supported by the Foundation are: Ethology, Psychology, Neurobiology, Social Anthropology, Ethnology, Human Palaeontology and Archaeology.
As part of its activities, the Fyssen Foundation will award:
- Research grants: Form to fill in on our website from September 3rd, 2021.
- An International Prize: It is expected that the applicant would have influenced significantly cognitive sciences at the international level.
The 2021 Fyssen International Prize will be awarded for research in:
EVOLUTIONS TOWARDS HUMAN COGNITION
The Prize will be awarded for major discoveries that have allowed us to appreciate the complexity of the evolution towards the present human.
The award for the International Prize is 100 000 €.
