CATERING

Strengt2Food: Food Quality for Sustainability and Health,https://www.strength2food.eu/
Project Partners from: UK, IT, NL, GR, FR, RS, DE, NO, ES, PL, TH, VN, BE including Municipality of Arilje (ARILJE) - Serbia
2016 – 2021

Strength2Food will:

  • Aid policy makers and other relevant stakeholders in improving the effectiveness of current policies on food quality designations and public sector food procurement to enhance their sustainability and promotion of healthy and nutritious diets.
  • Develop and deliver effective policies for improving the overall sustainability of agriculture and capacity for balanced nutrition.
  • Demonstrate and validate how to stimulate the development of new quality markets and local food chains through pilot initiatives and innovative actions.
  • Maximise the impact of the project’s activities and achievements through effective knowledge exchange and communication with a wide range of relevant stakeholders on up-to-date sustainable practices.

GPP Capacity Building

GraspINNO – creation of a platform for supporting public administrations in the management of electronic Green Public Procurement (eGPP) , https://graspinno.interreg-med.eu/

Project Partners from: CY, BA, FR, GR, IT, SI, ES including Department for Development and International Projects of Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton from Bosnia and Herzegovina
2016 – 2019

The project will:

  • Lead to the creation of a platform for supporting public administrations in the management of electronic Green Public Procurement (eGPP), integrating and standardising already existing tools; 
  • Test this platform through 10 pilot actions to be developed in different geographical areas. Pilots will help public administrations to define best energy solutions for the refurbishment of public buildings, to plan green calls for tender through such an eGPP platform, and to publish and award calls for tender according to the rules of each country; 
  • Transfer project results to all GRASPINNO countries and MED area through specific training;
  • Realize a road map for a large-scale platform utilization promotion;
  • Organize Living Lab for transferring information to local stakeholders, in particular to Municipalities, for the realization of Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs).
