News archive - Commission starts Open Access publishing platform
On 26 November 2020, the European Commission announced that its Open Access publishing platform 'Open Research Europe' would be ready to accept submissions.
Open Research Europe was established for the publication of research stemming from Horizon 2020 funding across all subject areas. The goal of the platform is to makes it easy for Horizon 2020 beneficiaries to comply with the open access terms of their funding and to offer researchers a publishing venue to share their results rapidly and facilitate open research discussion. All Horizon 2020 grantees are eligible to publish at no cost to them. The article guidelines for publishing in the platform have been released, and submissions will be possible as of early December 2020.
