The next Western Balkans Research and Innovation Meeting will take place in Sofia on March 18-19, 2020 and will be hosted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria. This event includes the preparatory meeting for the next Western Balkans Steering Platform on Research and Innovation to be held in Tirana.
The aim of this Western Balkans Research and Innovation Meeting is to follow up on decisions taken during the Steering Platform meeting in Brussels of September 2019 including an update on R&I strategies and budgets, smart specialisation, and various ongoing initiatives.
