News archive - [Event Announcement] Unveiling Serbia's Smart Specialisation Strategy and exploring the role of incubators, accelerators and S&T Parks in WBC and SEE

The conference is organised by the JRC, the Serbian Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the EU funded project EU4TECH,

The event will be also web streamed and  Registration is already open to all interested participants until 30th September.

Participation will be free of charge but subject to space availability (max 180 participants).

 

 

Moreover, nationals from Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Israel, Kosovo*, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Ukraine, the Republic of North Macedonia, Tunisia and Turkey may apply for waiving accommodation and travel costs.

If you are eligible, please make sure to submit your expression of interest at the latest by 15th September.

The applications will be assessed on the basis of motivation, background, geographical balance and organisation. The evaluation's results will be announced by 20th September.

(*This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence)

On first day, the event will focus on the results of Serbia's Entrepreneurial Discovery Process from the wider regional perspective of the Western Balkans and South East Europe dimension.

On the second day, interested participants will discuss the role of Science Parks and incubators in the region in implementing Smart Specialisation priorities.
