[Event Review] 4th Research and Innovation Meeting, Vienna 9-10 June 2019
The fourth Western Balkans Research and Innovation meeting took place in Vienna on June 9-10, 2019 within the framework of the European Commission’s Support for the Steering Platform (SP) on Research and Innovation for the Western Balkan countries (WBC).
Participants discussed the state of research and innovation policy as well as the development of smart specialisation strategies in Western Balkan countries, specific measures to increase mobility and positions towards the upcoming Framework Programme Horizon Europe. The meeting additionally served for preparing the next Steering Platform and Ministerial Meetings.
