The third Western Balkans Research and Innovation meeting took place in Saraejvo on March 26-27, 2019 within the framework of the European Commission’s Support for the Steering Platform (SP) on Research and Innovation for the Western Balkan countries (WBC).
Participants discussed the state of research and innovation policy in Western Balkan countries, their alignment with research priorities and economic policies as well as the ongoing elaboration of smart specialisation strategies and the technology transfer activities. The meeting additionally served for preparing the next Steering Platform and Ministerial Meetings.
