News archive - 2nd Digital Summit 2019 Steering Committee met in Berlin on 14 December 2018
The WB Digital Summit is part of the Digital Integration component of the Multi-annual Action Plan for a Regional Economic Area (MAP REA) in the Western Balkans, agreed by the region's leaders in Trieste in 2017.
The preparatory meeting tackled several aspects of the 2nd WB Digital Summit that is to take place in Belgrade, Serbia on 4-5 April 2019. The participants discussed logistical, administrative and content details as well as potential side events.
The first Western Balkans’s Digital Summit, supported and co-organised by the RCC together with the host government, and in cooperation with the European Commission (EC) and German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy took place in Skopje in April 2018.
