News archive - First annual forecasting event “EU and Western Balkans in 2019”
“EU and Western Balkans in 2019”, organised by European Fund for the Balkans (EFB), Balkans in Europe Policy Advisory Group (BiEPAG) and European Western Balkans (EWB), took place on 14 December in Belgrade, Serbia. This high-level event gathered more than 30 most influential opinion makers from the region and EU to discuss on predictions about the trends and dynamics of policy developments in 2019.
The event had two parts: closed sessions and a public session.
The closed sessions with round table discussions between key experts, civil society representatives and journalists on possible policy developments in the EU and the Western Balkans in 2019. The discussions were held using Chatham House rules, and the conclusions from the closed sessions will be published on the www.europeanwesternbalkans.com and will be distributed to target groups in the region and the EU.
