News archive - Recent H2020 calls: evaluation results are available
Evaulation results for two recent calls under Horizon 2020 have been released on the Participant Portal by the European Commission (EC), DG Research and Innovation.
The first-stage call "Building a Low-carbon, Climate Resilient Future: Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy" in the "Secure, Clean and Efficient Energy" work programme part of the Societal Challenges pillar of Horizon 2020 covered two topics, "Renewable energy system integrated at the building scale" and "Developing solution to reduce the cost and increase performance of renewable technologies". The call closed on 31 January 2018. The former topic received a total of 65 proposals, of which 21 were above threshold, requesting a total budget of more than € 94 million, with € 27.5 million available budget for this topic. The second topic received 94 proposals, of which 26 were above threshold. These requested a total buget of € 111.7 million, with € 30 million actually available. The above-threshold proposals have been invited to submit a full proposal by 23 August 2018.
The restricted call for proposals for action grants under 2017 Rights, Equality and Citizenship Work Programme called for projects proposals on "Ensuring the highest level of protection of privacy and personal data". The call closed on 25 January 2018 and received 13 proposals, of which 8 were recommended for co-financing, and 4 were put on the reserve list. As the proposals recommended requested only a total € 1.5 million, while € 2.0 million are available for this call, the first proposal from the reserve list has also been invited to grant agreement preparation.
