News archive - Second Inform Newsletter released (March 2018)
This bulletin is issued by the Horizon 2020 funded INFORM project, focusing on "Closing the Gap between Formal and Informal Institutions in the Balkans". The project aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the interaction between the formal institutions brought about by EU integration processes and the informal institutions prevalent in the Western Balkan countries.
The second newsletter provides a brief overview of the research on formal and informal institutions in Southeast Europe that INFORM team has carried out over the past year.
Some of the highlights:
- INFORM survey results;
- informality in the political and economic spheres of Southeast Europe;
- glimpses into our ethnographic fieldwork;
- surveyed attitudes towards the European Union in Southeast European states;
- the INFORM project in conversation with policy-makers.
