News archive - Recent HORIZON 2020 call results released

The results of several recent calls under Horizon 2020 on its Participant Portal were recently released on the Participant Portal.

The first intermediate 2018 deadline for proposals for the ERC Proof of Concept Grant received a total of 119 proposals (deadline 16 January 2018). The second intermediate deadline for submission will be 18 April 2018, and the final deadline for submission is 11 September 2018.

The "Security" call under the "Secure Societies" work programme of Horizon 2020 closed on 24 August 2017 and covered 11 different topics. The European Commission received a total of 131 proposals, 70 of which were above threshold, requesting a budget of slightly more than € 359 million. The total budget available for this call is € 130 million. The EC expects the first grant agreements to be signed by April 2018.
