News archive - [Project end]: WBC-INCO.NET Project officially closed on April, 30th, 2014

We started in 2008 and we have achieved a lot - we prepared reports and publications, we organised events on different topics by including many different stakeholders from Science, Research and Innovation sector from the Western Balkan region and Europe-wide. We supported the Steering Platform on Research for many years and kept you informed via website and newsletter - so far nearly 200 newsletters have been disseminated reaching a great number of researchers and policy stakeholders. More than 3.500 news can be found via the news archive. The WBC-INCO.NET project officially closed on April 30, 2014 and activites were handed over partly to Danube-INCO.NET.

So far, a hand-over strategy is prepared, with which we try to ensure that as much as possible information and value from the WBC-INCO.NET website will be transferred to the new project Danube-INCO.NET (http://danube-inco.net/). This is a project with similar aims to support international cooperation in research and innovation, but focusing on the Danube region. The new Danube-INCO.NET project newsletter will be sent out together with the launch of the project website - if everything runs smoothly, by the next week. This will allow you to further receive a similar newsletter, as your are used to it - even with no interruption. If you nevertheless wish to un-subscribe from the newsletter, we will include an un-subscription-link in the first Danube-INCO.NET newsletter too.

WBC-INCO.NET website will however not be closed in the near future, so you are still welcome to post your event or news announcements by yourself which are relevant for all Western Balkan countries. The updates and some basic maintenance will be provided on a voluntary basis of some ZSI employees. You are most welcome to join us and support us! We are also still open for your proposals regarding the sustainability of this website - get in contact with us at office@wbc-inco.net.

Western Balkans Info Hub - powered by "Policy Answers" - is funded by the European Commission through the Horizon Europe project "R&I policy making, implementation and support in the Western Balkans", grant agreement: 10105887.
