News archive - The “Balkan-Mediterranean” Programme has elected its Managing Authority

The new transnational Programme “Balkan-Mediterranean” of the 2014-2020 programming period has unanimously elected the Hellenic Managing Authority of European Territorial Cooperation Programmes as its Managing Authority.

This new programme will cover Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Albania and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
The "Balkan-Mediterranean" Programme will promote economic, social, environmental and institutional cohesion and development in the wider area by improving socio-economic competitiveness and institutional capacity in the regions. Its thematic priorities will be connectivity, environment and entrepreneurship.

The estimated budget for the programme is 60 million Euros.
