A high level political dialogue debate is represented by the 15th Steering Platform on Research for Western Balkan countries that will meet on 11-12 December 2013, as described in our related news item. At next meeting Horizon 2020 will be in focus, however other topics such update on regional cooperation issues, knowledge & technology transfer, ERA, IPA II etc. will be debated as well. The meeting is upon invitation only. On 12th December, additionally a side event "Future of the Steering Platform” will be the right venue to discuss about the sustainabilty of this important political dialogue mean.

Back to back to this meeting, also the WBC-INCO.NET Executive Steering Board will meet on 10-11 December. It is restricted to project team members and it will focus on the sustainability of the project results as well as on current and upcoming activities until the end of the project.

Last but not least, within the project Work-package 1 (European and Regional Dialogue) the 7th Regional Dialogue Meeting (upon invitation only) will be organised prior to the Steering Platform meeting where the WB countries will exchange the information on current status of preparations for Horizon 2020 as well as the information on implications of the newly adopted regional R&D strategy for Innovation in each country. This inter-regional dialogue will be also used to discuss possible steps forward as regarding the future of the SP.
