News archive - Wave of national Horizon 2020 and Eurostars launch events across Europe
After the buzz triggered by the official Horizon 2020 for SMEs conferences in Brussels of the last two months and many other targeting the EU crowd over the past year, the end of 2013 and the beginning of next year will see a similar excitement reach many European capitals as Horizon 2020 is launched at national level.
'THE TOTAL BUDGET OF EUROSTARS WITHIN HORIZON 2020 HAS TRIPLED COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAMME.'
On the same occasion, Eurostars, the only European programme dedicated R&D-intensive SMEs, will also be presented to local innovation entrepreneurs and researchers as it is a joint innovation funding programme integrated within the Horizon 2020 flagship. The total budget of Eurostars within Horizon 2020 has tripled compared to the preceding implementation of the programme under the Framework Programme Seven, to reach a1.14 billion euro figure.
