News archive - H2020 ICT work programme published

In view of the launch of first calls for proposals under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, foreseen for mid-December, the European Commission has published the draft Work Programme on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) under Leadership in enabling and industrial technologies (LEIT).  Even though the document is pending the Commission Decision, it has been approved by the ICT National Expert Group. Providing detailed information on call topics, the ICT-LEIT Work Programme is required reading for Luxembourg research-performing organisations in the Industry and ICT sector.

Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 is the EU’s new programme for research and innovation for the period 2014-2020.  The first calls for proposals of Horizon 2020 are expected to be published in the beginning of 2014. The programme will finance research projects as well as projects targeting more specifically innovation issues that drive intelligent, sustainable and inclusive growth. By strengthening research, innovation and technology, Europe hopes investing in job creation through growth.
