News archive - G2C Life Sciences Internet Platform Offers Free Cooperation Partner Service

The new Internet platform G2C Life Sciences provides access to cooperations, ranging from research to market maturity, through to sales and marketing. This free partner search facility is offered by VBU (Association of German Biotechnology Companies) and DECHEMA and is open to research institutions, universities, organizations and companies.

As the “showcase for German life sciences” the information platform is also attractive to international stakeholders and investors. Here they can find potential partners for research and development, technology transfer and also for sales and marketing in one of the world’s largest life sciences markets.

Many companies and research institutions are already participating. Individuals can register on the platform and publicise not only their products and services, but also technology offered and required to a wider audience. The platform makes light work of a search through all entries and profiles. Users can extend their network by posting contact requests. The “Meet me at” function makes it possible to prearrange targeted, one-on-one meetings at events. As an added bonus, G2C provides information on funding programmes, events and job offers. The aim of the initiative is to bridge the gap from research to market entry.

The rationale for this initiative was to supplement the existing panoply of events by creating an innovative option for identifying and contacting partners absolutely independent of time and place. “G2C” stands for “Gateway to Cooperation”. Besides the comprehensive G2C life sciences platform, VBU and DECHEMA also run the website “G2C Pharma” in cooperation with BPI (German Pharmaceutical Industry Association). Here BPI members and stakeholders in pharmaceutical research and production present themselves.
