News archive - [Event Announcement] PERSPECTIVES OF TERRITORIAL COOPERATION 2014-2020 Expectations after Croatian Access(EPA conference + Awards IPA 2013)

Only today still to register for this Conference that will present a twofold perspective on territorial cooperation in the new financial and programming period in the European Union and focus, among other, on the transformation of scenery in local and regional partnerships after the accession of the Republic of Croatia.

The conference will allow an overview from the representatives of the EU institutions – the European Parliament, the European Commission and the Committee of the Regions – in terms of propositions, policy indications and news in funding for the period 2014-2020.

Representatives of regional governments will give an overview of their plans, needs and expectations for the period 2014-2020.

This October also marks the third edition of the European Projects Awards. We reach another peak of the two-years campaign ‘What are you doing… for a better society?’. EPA rewards the projects financed by the European Union that had an outstanding impact on a specific community, territory or sector.

This edition of Awards focuses on successful projects financed through the Instrument for Pre-Accession. In addition, the2013 October Awards will pay tribute to local and institutional figures that played a relevant role in the field of Regional and Local Development in the period 2007-2013.

This October marks the third edition of the European Projects Awards. We reach another peak of
the two-years campaign ‘What are you doing… for a better society?’. The aim of the Campaign is
to reward the projects financed by the European Union that had an outstanding impact on a specific community,
territory or sector. For this edition we decided to focus on successful projects financed through the
Instrument for Pre-Accession. In addition, these Awards will pay tribute to local and institutional figures that had an influence and played a relevant role in the field of Regional and Local Development in the period 2007-2013.
